Kelly Freiberger currently serves as the Student Conduct Coordinator. In this role, Kelly is a primary hearing officer, which means she investigates and adjudicates allegations of personal misconduct under the Indiana University Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct utilizing the most effective and promising theory and practices in the field. Kelly also serves as the coordinating officer of the university hearing commission, which includes facilitating university hearings, and various administrative matters including document preparation and confidential management of student records.
Kelly originally joined the Office of Student Conduct as the Graduate Hearing Officer in August 2015. While in that role, Kelly earned a Master of Science in Education from Indiana University’s Higher Education and Student Affairs program. Kelly has held other positions as an annual conference intern with the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) and in academic advising with University College at Indiana University, Bloomington. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle/Secondary Social Studies Education from Butler University, where she served as a resident assistant, apartment community assistant, and student affairs intern. Kelly is a member of the Association of Student Conduct Administrators (ASCA) and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA).
