An exhibition of works by local artist Skye Brown.

April: Detention

Campus Center Cultural Arts Gallery (CE 148)

In the last few years, Erin Drew has found herself in the unexpected position of teaching art to children. Borrowing heavily from early childhood classroom aesthetics, DETENTION will explore the tensions between the artist's relationship with Contemporary Art and her employment situation. It will examine the experience of teaching about the contradictions of art in late capitalism as they envelope her.

May: Kennedy Williams and Marissa Cohen

Campus Center Cultural Arts Gallery (CE 148)

Kennedy Williams and Marissa Cohen's illustration senior thesis show.

June: Evan Rice

Campus Center Cultural Arts Gallery (CE 148)

A show of Evan Rice's recent large paintings featuring layers and LED lights that highlight local Indianapolis dishes. The inspiration from observing the creativity that goes into some of these local menu items is the driving point for the exhibition.
