Equipment Rental

Equipment for select activities is available upon request and for a nominal deposit. An equipment request should be submitted at least three days prior to your event. The deposit will cover any lost or damaged equipment and the deposit will be returned in full if all equipment is returned in good condition. You are responsible for any damaged or lost equipment.

To request equipment, contact Campus Recreation by visiting PE 043, calling (317) 274-2824 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., or e-mailing recsuper@iupui.edu.

Lockers

Lockers, located in PE 053 and PE 054, are available to IUPUI students, faculty, and staff. Participants may use the C-H lockers free of charge on a daily basis. All locks must be removed daily.

A-B lockers are also available for use during the semester for a fee of $19, which includes a locker with a combination lock and towel service. Payment may be made at the IU Natatorium Pro Shot during the semester or online when registering for IUPUI academic classes. The Natatorium Pro Shop will provide a claim ticket, which should be taken to the Campus Recreation Office (PE 043) for locker assignment, combination, and towel.

Tall lockers are available for those who have paid for a locker rental. Priority goes to students in the School of Physical Education & Tourism Management in the first two weeks of each semester after which tall lockers will be available to all others who have paid the rental fee. All eligible requests are on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to limited space, we do not allow lockers to be held year round.

Locker Policy

  • The period of locker rental/laundry service begins with the first day of class and ends with the last day of undergraduate final examinations.
  • Non-university locks will be removed each evening.

Towel Service

  • Clean towels will be issued when a soiled towel is surrendered.
  • Towels cannot be “borrowed.”
  • Towel service will be provided Monday through Friday (8 a.m. - 9 p.m.) and on weekends (2 - 9 p.m.). Laundry service will be provided for University towels only.

Campus Recreation, PETM, and the IU Natatorium are not responsible for any damaged, lost, or stolen items in lockers and locker rooms. Please notify Campus Recreation immediately if you have any questions or concerns.

Locker & Towel Policy

Locker Clean-Out

Please remove all items, not just those you wish to keep. Any personal items left in a locker at the end of the term will be kept for two weeks and then discarded. A fee of $10 will also be charged for lost locks.

Towels must be turned in to PE 043 on or before noon on posted deadline date. A fee of $10 will be charged for lost towels.
