Peer Educator Application Form
Students interested in becoming a Peer Educator must complete and submit an online application and we will be in touch! Deadline for new applicants for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year is July 31, 2017, for current students! Incoming transfer and first year students can apply after their first semester enrolled at IUPUI. We look forward to speaking with you about how you can help your peers THRIVE at IUPUI!
2017 Peer Education Application - YOUR NAME
- Do I have to major in a Health field to participate as a Peer Educator? No! Any and all students are welcome to apply! Regardless of major, the Peer Educator team provides an opportunity for passionate and dedicated students to educate other students and community members on health and wellness topics.
- Do I have to take the Peer Health Education and Leadership class (PBHL S240) to become a Peer Educator? No! You have two (2) choices: 1) Take the class or 2) Take the Leader Academy, which is offered online via Canvas.
- Do I have to be interested in all health topics to participate as a Peer Educator? No! Students will have the opportunity to explore a number of health topics (including, but not limited to sexual health, sexual violence, healthy relationships, alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, stress, mental health, and body image). Students will also have the opportunity to focus their interests, involving themselves in and creating programs and campaigns that surround their interests.
