Fall Alternative Break

Join us for a new kind of Fall Alternative Break (FAB) trip! This fall break 36 student participants, four Alternative Break Co-Coordinators, and two staff advisors will venture to a mystery location that is within a five-hour drive. The social issues for the trip include: Emergency Preparedness, Affordable Housing, Urban Farming, and Food Insecurity.

Students will depart Friday, October 14th and arrive back at IUPUI on Tuesday, October 18th. This is a unique FAB trip that places participants into one of four groups to serve with 2 community partners. Prior to the trip, students will attend three pre-trip education meetings to meet the other participants and learn about the city and social issue.

This experience is only $50 and covers most meals, transportation, and housing!

Applications for FAB 2016 have closed for the 2016-2017 academic year! Be sure to apply for next year's trip! Applications typically are out the first week of classes.
