Campus Traditions
Homecoming

Alumni are an important part of any campus Homecoming so whether you graduated many years ago or just last year, we hope you will join us for this year’s festivities!

Although alumni are invited to attend any event during Homecoming Week, Saturday, March 1st will provide the best opportunity for experiencing IUPUI and showing your Jaguar pride. Check out the schedule below to see what exciting events we have in store for Saturday!

Saturday March 1, 2014 Homecoming Events:

8:00am-12:00pm              Service Event

Alumni are invited to join students for a morning of service to give back to IUPUI and the local community. Registration will begin at 8:00am and breakfast will be provided. Register here.

11:00am-2:00pm                    Alumni Tours

Come see how the campus has changed since you were a student. Tours begin in the Office of Campus Visits on the second floor of the Campus Center and will utilize the covered walkways (“gerbil tubes”).  Highlights include the new residence and dining hall in University Tower, the former hotel and conference center. Tour frequency will be determined by the number of people who come.

12:00pm-2:30pm              JagGating*

JagGating is IUPUI’s version of tailgating. Stop by before the game for food, family-friendly activities and to get ready to cheer on our Lady Jaguars on the second floor of the Education Social Work building.

3:00pm                               Women’s Basketball vs. Western Illinois and Alumni Social*

Cheer on the Lady Jags as they take on Western Illinois in their final game of conference play! There will be an alumni social at halftime. Game tickets are $10 per person, children 4 and under are free. RSVP and purchase tickets here. Purchasing a game ticket through us will also provide you admission to the alumni social.
