Jagapalooza
Committee Application

Each year the Jagapalooza event relys on students to help plann and facilitate the event. This opportunity is a great leadership position to work on program planning, communication, marketing, and many more skills.

Applications are accepted until all positions are filled!

The following positions are currently available for the 2014-2015 Jagapalooza student planning committee:

Director

  • Oversee programs and marketing
  • Manage palooza email
  • Establish meeting agendas
  • Determine timeline for planning
  • Meet weekly with the event Advisor

Entertainment Coordinator

  • Oversee game and ride selection
  • Coordinate logistics for games and rides
  • Meet bi-weekly with the event Advisor

Marketing Coordinator

  • Update Jagapalooza social media
  • Manage Jagapalooza social media
  • Identify marketing materials
  • Update website information
  • Design and print marketing materials with the MPC
  • Meet bi-weekly with the event Advisor

Sponsorship Coordinator

  • Oversee sponsorship process
  • Facilitate prizes for event
  • Meet bi-weekly with the event Advisor

Campus Coordinator

  • Oversee relationship with academics and faculty
  • Create marketing plan for academic and faculty recruitment
  • Meet bi-weekly with the event Advisor

Student Organization Coordinator

  • Oversee relationship with organizations, OSI, and FSL
  • Creake marketing plan for student organization involvement
  • Meet bi-weekly with the event Advisor

Concert Coordinator

  • Oversee concert planning
  • Coordinate logistics for concert (room reservations, stage, production, etc.)
  • Facilitate artist selection
  • Meet bi-weekly with the event Advisor

Volunteer Coordinator

  • Oversee volunteer recruitment
  • Facilitate volunteer assignments and training
  • Meet bi-weekly with the event Advisor
