Pride & Traditions
Beginning the 2012 academic year, IUPUI Jagapalooza is the campus end of the year celebration. Below are some highlights and information for this year’s celebration!
Jagapalooza is scheduled to happen from 5 PM to midnight.
Jagapalooza will be located in lot 71. This is the parking lot across from North Hall and between the North Street and Blackford Street garages.
We have several rides coming! Below is a list of some possible rides (an asterisk indicates they are child-friendly with adult supervision):
- 1001 Nachts
- Loop O Plane*
- Rock O Plane*
- Giant Slide*
We have several carnival games arriving. Attendees will have to pay to participate in the games just like a carnival!
We have partnered with several vendors to provide food and beverages for attendees. There is a cost associated with this, but we have worked with them to offer a low-cost menu!
- NY Slice
- Kona Ice
- Slider Station
- Carnival Concessions:
- Elephant ears
- Funnel cakes
- Lemon Shake Ups
We wanted to provide several points of engagement for the IUPUI community! In addition to having rides and games, we have several activities present for you:
- Face Painting
- Caricature Artists
- Henna Artists
As members of the IUPUI community, you are able to park where your parking permit designates. For visitors, please visit our Parking Services website for more information about where to park the day of Jagapalooza.
Everything operates rain or shine! We are anticipating great weather, but Jagapalooza will happen even if there is some rain in the forecast. In the event of severe weather, participants will be taking shelter in the Science, Engineering & Technology Building. Volunteers will be present to direct you in the event of a weather evacuation.
