Jagapalooza

Beginning the 2014-2015 year, the Jagapalooza committee is launching a Jagapalooza Battle of the Bands competition. In order to help this inaugural year program be successful, we are in need of volunteers!

The committee will be made up of a Chair, and three coordinators, plus members. Below is more information about the coordinator positions and membership.

  • Logistics Coordinator

    • Help create the rules and regulations for the bands

    • Will be responsible with aligning all the bands riders with the events

    • The person will also be working with the different venues and being the main contact for the committee for those venues

    • Creating production schedules for each event

    • Any other duties as needed by the Battle of the Bands committee, or the Jagapalooza committee.

  • Marketing Coordinator

    • Will need to have creative marketing ideas

    • Works directly with the Jagapalooza marketing coordinator

    • Serves as liaison with IU Communications staff

    • Coordinates signage present and visible during the event

    • Must be knowledgeable on all aspects of Jagapalooza and willing to devote a large amount of time during the late fall and spring

    • Any other duties as needed by the Battle of the Bands committee, or the Jagapalooza committee

  • Communications Coordinator

    • Creating the registration process for the bands

    • Review all the applicants and make them aware of rules and regulations

    • Being the main contact with the bands and passing along information

    • Work with creating the voting format for the battles

    • Any other duties as needed by the Battle of the Bands committee, or the Jagapalooza committee

  • Committee Member

    • Attend regularly scheduled meetings of the Battle of the Bands committee

    • Assist the coordinators and committee chair as needed

    • Any other duties as needed by the Battle of the Bands committee, or the Jagapalooza committee
