New Student Organizations
New student organizations are highly encouraged at IUPUI! If you are unable to find that organization you are passionate about, start your own.
Prior to beginning this process, please log into The Den and check to ensure that there is no organization that mimics the intentions of your group. Per IU policies, a group may not duplicate the purpose and/or activities of an existing student organization (i.e. duplicate organizations are not allowed). Each individual organization must meet a need not already met on campus. This provision safeguards limited resources and encourages students to work cooperatively when their interests and intentions are similar. Registration for all new student organizations takes place in The Den. Once you have logged into The Den, click on "Organizations," scroll down, and under Register a New Organization, select "Register." Please fill out this form to begin the new student organization registration process.
Please note that the new student organization registration process will be changing for the 2017-2018 academic year. In preparation for this change, any student organization that is interested in becoming registerered before the beginning of the 2017-2018 academic year will need to submit their application by 7/15.
