Juliana Jalal serves as the coordinator for student organizations, a position she has held since August 2016. Jalal supports IUPUI’s 475+ registered student organizations in developing, implementing, and assessing a wide array of student organization programs. She also serves as the primary risk management facilitator for student organizations. Additionally, Jalal manages the Campus Labs Engage online platform (The Den) with more than 550 portals and more than 10,500 student, faculty, and staff users. Among her other duties, Jalal creates and implements supplemental resources and development opportunities for student organization leaders and faculty/staff advisors. Jalal coordinates the semi-annual student involvement fairs as well as the student organization awards in the spring. She also supervises CUBE Student Organization Center staff, who assist with student organization support and registration, student organization and departmental promotions, and the management of the CUBE Student Organization Center.

Prior to joining the Division of Student Affairs, Jalal served as the graduate assistant for student organizations with the Office of Student Activities and Organizations as well as the graduate assistant of programming with the Office of International Affairs at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
