Angela Garrison use an integrative approach in her work, primarily drawing from person-centered and interpersonal process perspectives, while also incorporating cognitive-behavioral, ACT, and compassion-based interventions to tailor therapy to the unique needs of each student. She places importance on creating a safe and collaborative therapy relationship that empowers students to work toward their goals. Garrison is trained as a generalist and has experience working with diverse individuals with a broad range of presenting concerns. Current areas of special interest include anxiety, relational concerns, identity development, perfectionism, body image and eating concerns, trauma, and stress management.
