Chojnacki takes a collaborative approach to the therapeutic process, utilizing client-centered, strengths-based, and interpersonal approaches to forge a partnership between counselor and client as a main vehicle for growth and healing. She also integrates cognitive approaches to bring awareness to client perceptions and thought patterns that may be contributing to the life struggles that clients experience. Chojnacki works to tailor treatment as necessary to meet the needs of the clients with whom she comes in contact. Though trained as a generalist, she has experience working with trauma, family dynamics and other interpersonal issues, anxiety, and depression. She also has a special interest in issues unique to the LGBTQ+ population as well as other topics related to sexuality.
