Aaron Halterman utilizes a cognitive behavioral and interpersonal approach in conceptualizing clients’ presenting problems and is integrative in techniques to meet the needs of the client. He trained clinically as a generalist and has experience working with a wide range of clinical concerns, providing both individual and group therapy, in addition to conducting psychoeducational evaluations. Halterman’s clinical interests include working with the phase-of-life challenges associated with college students, athletics, multiculturalism, group psychotherapy, mood and anxiety disorders, relationship concerns, and identity development. In addition to clinical work, he greatly values the opportunity to engage with the campus community through outreach presentations.
