Jameco McKenzie joined the Division of Student Affairs in July 2018. He is the residence coordinator for Ball Residence Hall. McKenzie’s responsibilities include supervising resident assistants and desk staff, responding to a wide variety of academic and personal development situations for first-year students, advising the first-year student Ball Hall Council, and serving on an on-call emergency response rotation. Additionally, McKenzie manages the student conduct process for his community. 


McKenzie’s passion areas include advocating for multiculturalism, social justice, equity and assisting students of color through mentorship. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and values contributing to service work in the wider community.


Prior to joining the HRL staff, McKenzie served as a graduate resident director in residence life, the program advisor for The Brotherhood, a men of color student success initiative, and served on the president's advisory committee on diversity, affirmative action, equity, and social justice at Salem State University.
