You won’t see traditions like ours anywhere else. We like to do things a little differently here at IUPUI, but we still bring loads of fun and opportunities to connect with friends and others on campus. Check out Weeks of Welcome every fall and Jagapalooza each spring. You’ll be glad you did.
Do tradition differently
Prepare to be WOWed
For two weeks at the beginning of every school year, we bring you Weeks of Welcome (WOW). Highlighted by free treats at the Ice Cream Social, IUPUI’s longest running tradition at more than 40 years, WOW also gives you countless opportunities to meet new friends, reconnect with old ones. The weeks’ events will also help you get more familiar with the city of Indianapolis, our campus, and all of the resources available to set you up for success in the coming terms.
The full menu of WOW activities is added to our events page as we finalize the schedule. We’ll see you in the fall!

First work, now play with Jagapalooza
When you’ve been working hard all year, there’s no better way to celebrate than our year-end carnival, Jagapalooza. Rides, games, food trucks, and more come to campus just before spring’s final exams. It’s the perfect way to re-energize with your fellow Jaguars. It can’t be missed!
If you love Jagapalooza as much as we do and want to help make it a fantastic event, join SAPB. There’s no better way to leave your mark on one of IUPUI’s greatest traditions and make this carnival come to life.
