How to find us when you need us
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) welcomes any IUPUI student seeking support, counseling or mental health services.
Initial appointments can be arranged by contacting our front office staff. Initial sessions are typically available within a week of your call, but the wait might be longer during times of high demand. If you are in crisis or require immediate support for concerns such as suicidal thoughts, difficulty completing daily tasks, or a recent event that threatens your safety or that of others, we also offer same-day telehealth appointments.
If you have questions about our services, call us at 317-274-2548 or email capsindy@iupui.edu . Please note that our email is not monitored after business hours.
If you have an emergency or a mental health crisis outside of CAPS business hours call 911 or one of the 24-hour crisis hotlines.
