What will the new year bring?

Your favorite fall tradition, nearly 20 ways to be WOWed and support in crushing your New Year's resolutions.

Whether or not you start your new year with goals or resolutions, Weeks of Welcome, hosted Jan. 13-24, will help you get reconnected to campus after the winter break.

Here's our guide to ensuring you make the most of your first two weeks on campus. All you need is your CrimsonCard.

Resolution: Get more involved on campus.

Attend these events:

  • Spring Into Campus Involvement Fair, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan 15 and 16 in the Campus Center Atrium.
  • Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment Event, 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, in the Campus Center room 307.
  • Multicultural Greek Council Presents: Meet the Greeks, 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, in the Campus Center Atrium.

Resolution: Have fun!

Attend these events:

  • A Sweet Start to Spring, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Jan. 13 in the Campus Center Atrium.
  • SAPB On the Go Presents: A Sprinkle of Home, 2-5 p.m. Jan. 23 in the Campus Center TV Lounge.
  • SAPB Films Presents: Knives Out, with showings at 6 and 8:30 p.m. Jan. 23 in the Campus Center Theater.
  • SAPB Presents: Casino Night, 7-11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, throughout the Campus Center.

Resolution: Travel and/or learn more about other countries.

Attend these events:

  • Study Abroad Fair, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, in the Campus Center Atrium.
  • International Club Culture Hour, 4:30-6 p.m. Jan. 17 in Taylor Hall 104.

Resolution: Focus more on academics.

Attend this event:

  • Academic Showcase, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15 with various campus partners participating across campus.

Resolution: Meet new people.

Attend these events:

  • DesiJags: Let's Break the Ice, 6-10:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in the Campus Center room 409.
  • Sophomore Social: Semester Kickoff, 4-6 p.m. Jan. 22 in Campus Center room 405.

Resolution: Connect to campus resources.

Attend these events:

  • Back to the Basics Resource Fair, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, in the Campus Center Atrium.
  • Team IUPUI Info Tables, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 13 and 14 at various locations across campus.

Resolution: Build school spirit. Go Jags!

Attend these events:

  • Cram the Coliseum, noon Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. Men's basketball will play the University of Illinois at Chicago, and they're giving out free t-shirts to Jag fans.
  • Celebrate IUPUI Day, which is hosted nearly all day Tuesday, Jan. 21. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can find a variety of activities throughout the Campus Center, and then the dance event starts at 7 p.m.
