Best book you’ve ever read?

Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The thank yous and appreciation from families, especially in this climate with the pandemic.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

I’ve learned not to plan too much of life because it never goes as planned, but I’d love to either be working on my doctorate/J.D and/or be a Dean of Students (that’s my dream job).

If you could live in another country, which country would you choose and why?

England. I’ve always had a fascination with London because of the history. I love history, probably because of my mom and her love for history, and there’s so much history in Europe in general. My parents and I traveled a lot within the US and Mexico, so I’d love to travel more when it’s safe to do so.

What snack food is your weakness?

Popcorn--lightly salted--and ice cream. My new favorite snack food is Ben & Jerry’s peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough…hands down the best snack.

Best thing about living in Texas?

The BBQ and southern hospitality.

Favorite TV channel?

E!, Bravo and TLC. I’m a sucker for reality TV drama and normally have it on as background noise while working at home.
