One thing you want to accomplish in 2021?

I’d love to consistently engage in my self-care strategies, which include reading, exercising, meditating and connecting to friends and family. Typically, some of them may be neglected because I’m all in on one of them.

Do you have a hidden talent, and if so, what is it?

I’m not sure if I’d describe it as a hidden talent for those that know me, but put me in a kitchen and I can make a decent meal out of what’s there.

What’s the best part about your job?

Where do I start? And do I have a word count limit? Seriously, it’s hard to pick. It’s a tie. One thing I’d say is the growth or change that occurs with clients from when they start to the mid-way point to the end of treatment. Another thing I love is being able to learn from my colleagues at CAPS. Finally, I love that I have a wide range of responsibilities in my role. I’m never bored.

Describe your ideal breakfast meal.

Ideal would have to be something that’s filling and vegetarian, so scrambled eggs, soy chorizo or spicy vegetarian patty and diced baked potatoes with toast, along with coffee and a smoothie. It doesn’t have to be that exactly, but a bowl of cereal or a yogurt as a breakfast meal won’t work for me. I’m grown.

If we’re getting some fast food, where would you want to go?

Is Chipotle or Qdoba considered fast food? If so, one of those.

Describe your “happy place.”

Meditating with incense burning, sun on my skin if it’s cool and beach waves in the background.

What’s one movie that everyone has seen but you haven’t?

I’ve seen bits and pieces of Jaws, but I’ve never seen it in its entirety.
