What is your favorite winter activity?
When I was a kid, I liked anything involving snow, like snowball fights, sledding, and snow forts. As a creaky grown-up, I like relaxing with a cup of hot chocolate, a good book and a candy cane.

What’s the best and worst holiday movie you’ve ever watched?
For me, the best holiday movie ever made is "The Nightmare Before Christmas," which also happens to be my favorite movie. The worst holiday movie I've ever seen is "Jack Frost" (1997). Not the cute, warm Michael Keaton movie of the same name -- the one about a killer snowman. It's so bad...it's almost good?

Do you have a New Year’s resolution?
I really want to meet my goal of reading 18 books in 2022.

What’s the #1 item on your bucket list?
Seeing the Aurora Borealis.

Is there something new you want to learn or try?

I'm a big fountain pen geek, and I'd love to try to make my own someday.

What’s the strangest food you’ve ever eaten?

Not super strange to me, but maybe to some other folks -- hog jaw (pork cheek). My mom's family is from Alabama, and there's a traditional southern dish made of black-eyed peas, hog jowl and greens that’s eaten on New Year's to usher in good fortune.
