What’s one thing that can instantly make your day better?
When other team members stop by my office with kind words or a fun story! I love getting to know people and adding joy to their day in some way.
What does your average weekend look like?
BUSY. When I'm not serving on my Juneteenth planning committee, I'm either spending time with my family by a campfire or going on hiking trails.
What’s a random fact about you?
While doing an art project in kindergarten, I somehow managed to get a piece of pencil graphite in my hand. The school nurse told me that my mom would need to get it out with a sewing needle since it was surface level at that time. But I was too scared for my mom to take a needle to my hand, so I did not tell her until weeks later! You can still see it hanging out in my right hand. I do like to write and doodle, so I guess this little piece of pencil shows how passionate I am? Uhh, sure...that one!
Where is your favorite place on IUPUI’s campus?
So far, Caribou Cafe for a caffeine boost. Being a newbie, I look forward to further exploring IUPUI's campus.
