As a member of the front desk team at Campus Health, Whitear assists patients when they arrive for their appointments. She also creates flyers and graphics for Campus Health and manages their Instagram account. Whitear is currently a staff council member and helps improve staff relations at the university level.
What's a favorite/unique hobby of yours?
I am a classically trained singer and I love to perform for others.
Do you have any pets?
I have two dogs – Sadie is a three-year-old mixed breed and loves to wag her tail if you call her "Sadie Girl." We found her after someone had dumped her in our neighborhood and no one claimed her. She is very sweet and cuddly… and also a diva. Henry is almost eight years old and he is a mama's boy. He is a black Sharpei mix and is very calm and stalwart. He is also very protective of his home and his family; he's always keeping watch.
What was the last movie you watched?
The last new movie we watched was "Top Gun: Maverick" and we LOVED it. So much action. Great music. Great story. And you can't go wrong with Tom Cruise in a fighter jet!
If you could be any food, what would you be and why?
I would be a dragon fruit. They are uniquely beautiful and sweet. What you see on the outside isn't the same as what you get on the inside, and I love that about people and feel that is a good representation of me as well. Oh, and pink is my favorite color.
