With this in mind, Batek strives to integrate multiple theoretical frameworks and modalities, with an emphasis on narrative, solution-focused, mindfulness, interpersonal, and anti-oppression orientations.

Over the past 19 years, Batek has worked in a number of different clinical settings, including several community-based organizations, employee assistance programs, and private practice venues.
